An Anglophile is a person who is enamored with Great Britain. WTF do you call someone who is enamored of Australia? Other than "you fricking loon" of course. I find that I get interested in Oz webpages easily. It worries me. Not that I'm worried about being a "fricking loon" because my friends assure me that I am... I bring this up because I still occasionally follow Toxic Custard to keep up with his journal. And the VM guy I linked yesterday has this amusing little goodie up to help you decide if you should "Kill yr blog".

Plus I must admit that I had to check on my spelling of NZ and OZ. Infonation helped out quite nicely and is cool to boot.

So I hooked an old friend on EverQuest and she Immediately turned out to be more dedicated to it than me. Her highest char is almost twice the level mine is. And now she has become a true net.myth by falling in love over the wire in-game and now her (wait for it...) fiancee has joined her here in the States from New Zealand! Nice guy and he is named "Mark" as well. Always nice to meet another Mark, I like ta say. =) Especially when he dragged his ass half round the world for a friend.

Now this is a cool site I snagged from MemePool: Guitar Noise has ALL of your guitar needs. Neat stuff!

In our garage at work is this:
          J F
           +
          C H
   C.H. I love you

And it occurs to me, What better way to say I love you than scrawling it on the wall of a filthy parking garage with a crayon. Worse, I've been parking there for weeks so I hope CH found another spot.

Speaking of the aforementioned great feces oroborus, I've been reading the null device a great deal and to my great surprise he mentioned that Virulent Memes is back at a new url. VM was the second or third blog I began reading. It's third if you consider MemePool a blog. This lead me down the old primrose path to Discordia again and thence to Discordian Quotes which then led to a netsearch that dug up this lyrics page of Pink Floyd's finest work.

All of that just because I logged on real quick to see if anyone else was using a word I've been bandying about: "efixing". Efixing is the practice of prefixing an "e", "i", or other letter to a normal word to create a vibrant new and hopefully trademarketable domain-name/business plan.

My other recent thought is "Tinkerbell'ing" and "Tinkerbell Healing". This is the practice of getting a bunch of ineffectual people together in a room and having them close their eyes and hope things get all better. A lot of efixed stock scams are doing this right now. If Tinker would just wake up and wave that e-wand we would all be saved!

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Clue.
Clue who?
Sigh, never mind you hopeless bastard...

A great feces oroborus is how I described blogging to my pal today. Half of blogging is shit we got from other bloggers. =)
And Encyclopedia Mythica was no help at all in my quest to spell "oroborus"
