- If you vote read about the math behind the electoral colege system. Cool info and well written too!

"How stupid do you want them to think you are?"
Seek the power, find the Sock of Destiny!
The hostile team now consists of scads of people hardly ever posting to this site! Of course that doesn't actually equate to any more posts, it just ups the brownian motion of the system a bit more.

No doubt more will appear here as we move along. For now, a poem from a book I love called "When Harlie Was One":

Stop whining, the site is free, isn't it?
Data Center and Hosting services provided by Xodiax, a Louisville, Kentucky facility offering colocation and managed services including security and disaster recovery services.
There is quite a bit of pent-up humor there, waiting to explode on you like a legless family's dog. Go see...
"Filming some movie in Canada" and "Vanished off the face of the Earth" are, for all intents and purposes, the same thing.
Well crap, you scream, where do you find such delicious comic linkage as Random Comic Theatre?
Simple, my little metallic sponge, I pick a comic I already know and love and look at their favorite links. Look how many comics I read already! I'm a working stiff, I gots a job, baby. I don't have time to sift through thousands of shitty, did-4-of-em-and-bailed comic websites. Nooo, I get my linkage from the people who know better and who know art when they see it, other comic artists.
See, there is this thing called the internet some useless bozos actually use the thing to, wait for it, inter-net-work. They actually communicate over this thing! Amazing! It turns out that it takes a village to raise a child but all it takes is e-mail and http to get cartoonists in touch with each other.
And no, PlanetCartoonist (gah, banners again), Astro-nerdboy (hurry, I miss 1996 page design!), Mycomix aka Toonscape (nice layout tho...), and HumorLinks (auugh, my eyes, my eyes!) haven't helped me find a single good strip...
Quote of the day is from a slam on Esperanto.
"sock of destiny"
Wow I love that...
Oh, and by the way, I own a PSX2 now. I call it the PSX2 because I refuse to call it the PS2 as Sony so stupidly labeled it. And this whole PS1 thing is just a nightmare...I keep wanting to take a baseball bat to it.
And it is indeed cool. As my main men would say...Aw yeah. Four hundred and fifty dollars...worth of puddin'.
Pardon me while I go play sweet video games on my puddin'...
Once I'd listened to the CD for about two hours, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to leave my happy home and do some driving. I've loved to drive since I was 11, and driving does more to calm me down than Prozac (but less than receiving a well done blowjob...gotta get a girlfriend soon...might need to graph the expenses associated with girlfriends vs auto care, first). Anyway, I was traveling the streets of Our Fair City , when I noticed an interesting fact: At approx 0545hrs EST, there are an inordinate number of joggers out huffing and puffing their way to better fitness. What was even wierder was that the closer you were to one of the six/seven colleges, the higher the percentage appeared. Now the neighborhood in which I live has a school relatively close to it, and I enjoy driving through the campus late at night...something about my grinning face seems to make campus cops follow me like I'm a bitch in heat through the pound...like I'm a serial killer in training or something...but I hadn't been through the campus in the early morning hours before. It was fascinating...something like the Nike commercial . Here were all these well-formed, sweaty women running around getting all exhausted in the name of good health (or making the sacrifice to the god of sexiness, you pick). I must've cruised those streets for an hour, just grinning like a stereotypical Starvin' Marvin at a seafood buffet. I finally had to leave when I realized that I'd picked up TWO of the three cruisers active on campus. And to think that I wouldn't have known this if I didn't work the overnight shift and hadn't had a night off of work.
Summing up:
While at work Mark is capable of pursuing many tasks without disturbing his ataraxia. DFA is a heaving, whiny poseur of a monopsonist. Mark is a word maven, DFA thinks grammar is the mother of his mom or dad. =)
Ice Cold Single
First tho, two for her to enjoy since she sent the fantabulous Angry Bob's Rules for Punctuation. Spelling and punctuation is a helpful set of guides for the webbie, check all the links there. Another Angry Flower about "Plural's" and of course one that just kills me as a bonus.
the Barbie radio station for girls Hmm. this one knows I'm a boy. All I get is nice text scroller in NS4 and IE5 crashes on the page =) Girls only I guess
Kim's text really sums it all up: a picture of RuPaul as a man...ewww.
always a favorite of mine... "*AfroSquad does not oppose bush, but do oppose George W. Bush, the person. " Good quote but I like this one too: "Stop reaching for the stars...they are really really far away, and made of fire. Reach for a booty instead."
Emode.com personality tests...some goofy, some goofier. Heh see this? out of all those test, how many were prepared by Ph.D.s? BTW I'm only a little toward the evil side and the following relates well to the beginning of this whole post...
You're unrealized superpower is Super Speed! Do you sometimes feel like your life is a blur?
My bolding =) and tricky linkage there... (man I love it when a post comes together!) p.s this post sez 7pm but it's closer to 6am =)
Also, bonus Goth linkage: Caoine's Emma is a quite the site designer. And breaking her site into four sections -- Exposition, Conflict, Resolution, and Denouement -- makes me weak-kneed with envy. Hit exposition and see the lovely nested shades of gray trick done right. She led me to this fine site, Gothflesh which I will say nothing more about...
your boss seems dumb enough to lock himself in the utility room. Why not send him to get a new pen? :)
hehe.
Now, you have to understand, I rarely ego-surf and I don't look at the server logs except to make sure that it isn't zero'ed out (2.5 weeks my site was down, not one friend mentions it). Heck I don't even have "referer" logging turned on. The last time I searched for my own name or website for backlinks was before I started this blog.
So given that, you'll understand why my brain performed a full shut-down and restart when I noticed one of the links was to here. D'oh. Now I have to start looking at the dang logs before I whine about how even my friends wont come to the site. I had 101 unique visitors last week, not counting search engines -- D'oh, when did that start? -- or the regular probes from the robot at weblogs.com.
Basically I'm torn between a nice welcome note and asking you to F*ck off 'cause you are cramping my style. I loved the nobody reads this page schtick. Hey wait, I got it, I'll complain about how all the people reading this page... nah...
Anyway, do please drop in from time to time. Plus, my page isn't styled orange so that has got to count for something. =) I did however fall to the horizontal stripe-y background meme and the massive miniature links on one side meme so who am I to talk. =)
No Orange tho er, except for the new title image I put up on the main page.
Diluting the ideology until it's nothing more than a new buzzword!
Of course, he was making an important point about Open Source vs. GNU's Free Software but it is just too fun on its own.
